Lagunitas Sucks Making a Summer Return?

    I was told by a bar owner that Lagunitas is sending some kegs and those 32's back east sometime over the next few weeks - or at least to NJ. Anyone hear anything about this? While this is obviously exciting, I hope it's not old west coast stock that they're trying to unload...

    I had Sucks on tap yesterday (Sunday) in Annapolis. Clearly fresh and delcious and did not taste like old kegs sitting around from winter.

    I also had Sucks on tap yesterday at Poor Henry's in Montville. Really fresh and delicous.

    The bar owner said something about it being brewed "halfway to Christmas", sometime around June 25th.

    Good to know. Jessie's who I heard it from. I thought he was saving it for their anniversary party. But on a side note, Sucks is year round in Cali, I believe. So it's not THAT crazy that they might decide to send some elsewhere. I just figure that if it was selling well enough there, why would they? Hence my worrying about it being old stock.

    I had read that Sucks was going year round as well in 32 ounce bottles but I have yet to see that happen. Jesse poured me a glass last night and it was as fresh as could be. Tasted freshier (not as sweet) as the batch earlier in the year.

    I may pop in for another glass tonight.

    Initial Sucks 32 ounce launch was so underwhelming. It was 2+ months old by the time it got to Long Island, didn't waste my time trying it as at about 2 months it falls off dramatically.

    Exactly. I was excited when I first saw them on the shelf until I saw the bottling date.

    I've never seen any 32's in NJ. Thought year round sucks was strictly west coast.

    Never saw 32s in NJ but couple times in NY. On the old side though.

    Why does this keep happening to Lagunitas, I read an article a month or so ago that said Tony was spending like a half a million dollars a week/or month to ship beer cross country, Chicago opens and the same problems exist. Something stinks and it is not the hops.
