Lagunitas "Undercover Shutdown" in Chicago???

It's coming... just a minor set back from what I understand...

 

Bodega Ramos on Diversey has this currently for sale. $14.99/six pack.

 

When did you see it?

 

Damn, that's alot. I wouldn't call that a sale . I remember a couple years ago it was $8.99/6pk and last year it was $9.99/6pk. I'm not from IL, but I'm assuming Lagunitas' prices are similar to here in OH.

 

I just think that's alot for Lagunitas either way. It's an amazing beer though..

 

It's around, but not in big quantities.

 

6-packs were on the shelf as of 5:30 PM yesterday (Wednesday).

As to the pricing of Bodega Ramos, yes it is a bit high, but it would be very difficult to find a better customer-service experience in the city, especially if Mateo is there. Friendly and extremely knowledgeable about wine. Go in, tell him what you are having for dinner, and he comes through with a great recommendation every time.

 

Mateo is the best. I'll gladly pay a premium on beers to keep Bodega Ramos in business.

 

On the floor at the Binnys in Lakeview

 

Just got it in at the Binny's in Skokie as well.

 

Castle Vav had two cases left as of 6:30 PM this evening. $8.99 for a six-pack. Quite the difference from $14.99 at Bodega Ramos...

We have it in sycamore, 10.98... I just gave our wine and spirits director some shit though, so he might lower it a bit... no promises. XD

 

Got a single case at Binny's Highland Park. Sold out in about an hour.

 

Just hit my local Binny's. Talked to the beer buyer there. They got one case (which seems to have been all anyone got), and they sold out in an hour. No word on getting more...
