Lagunitas Waldo's Special in Oakland County

    Looking to pick up a 6 pack of this beer but no luck so far. I know a few places got it last week but I didn't make it there and they are out. My local place didn't get any. The one-hitter series hasn't gotten great distro in Oakland County this year and it's been a bit harder to find.......

    AFAIK all the Lagunita's special releases are in the "A list store only" category. The best beer stores in the area get them, like Holiday Market, 8 degrees and a few of the higher end markets, Plum, Whole Foods, etc.

    The majority of the stores are B list and get shut out.

    I saw the same thing happen with 3 Lagunitas special release beers, Citrusinensis, Born Yesterday, and now Waldo's. It also happens with other brewery's beers, like No Rules Batch 1. Pretty shitty, but I guess that's how it goes around here.

    Champanes in Warren still has Waldos, as of Thursday this week. My local shop in South Lyon still has it, as well.
