Lagunitas Waldo's Special?

    Hey- Is Waldo's Special coming out again this year? On 4/20? I haven't seen any events listed- YET. Thanks.

    Lagunitas just posted on their facebook page that they will start tappin' a limited number soon.

    Anyone know what style? A rep told me it will be different every year, though I wonder if they can improve from last year's - best beer they ever brewed IMO

    Hey. The Rep I'm aquainted with calls says "it's a double IPA with a crazy ganja nose and a super tropical fruit note." Hmmm...........I'm down for that.

    If they're honoring 4/20 or 4:20, I don't see how they would brew anything but a hoppy DIPA.

    Last year, I just happened to be at a bar on 4/20 that put it up on it's blackboard at 4:20. No advance notice of any kind.

    Best way to describe last years version-- cross Sucks with Deviant Dales and boom! By far, my favorite Lagunitas beer. Hope people get to try it. A few bars in MD have indicated that they will be tapping it on 4-20 for sure.

    Just had a couple glasses yesterday :stuck_out_tongue: It was absolutely delicious. But not close to how dank it was last year.

    I was lucky to have some on-tap last year at the Lizardville in Rocky River when it just opened.. Classic Lagunitas.. Is this really a different recipe from last year? I'm a big believer of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it", but whatever.. hopefully it pops up again this year.

    Also on tap Undercover Investigation Shutdown Ale and IPA. Groovy.
