Heading up to Lake Bomoseen in a couple of weeks, from the few times I have been up there I know there's not much in the area in terms of package stores and I searched the site for reviews on local places....is my best bet to head into Rutland and go to Terill St Beverage? Any chance of Heady Topper or anything from Hill Farmstead!

    Thanks,
    Jason

Middlebury Discount beverage normally has Heady and is probably closer. They also have a pretty decent craft selection. You can always stop by Otter Creek/ Wolavers for some sampling while in Middlebury.

Heady is now only distributed to Burlington/Montpelier areas. You will find a pretty good selection at Middlebury Discount, Liberty St. Discount in Fair Haven, and at the Beer King & Terrill St in Rutland.
If you do go to Middlebury, you can visit Otter Creek/Wolaver's and a new brewery in town "Drop In Brewing".

You are correct! No longer available in the Rutland area, the guy from Terrill Street Beverage got back to me and said they no longer get it. Sucks.

If you head up toward Middlebury, continue on to Bristol and hit the Bobcat. Unbelievable beer and food and a great atmosphere, a hidden treasure far from the interstate. The bakery across the street makes the best chocolate cake in the known universe but you have to order it ahead of time; still plenty of good stuff to grab on a casual visit though.
