Heading to the Lake George area for the weekend is there anywhere, besides Adirondack pub&brewery, that are worth checking out.

We stay in LG for a week at the end of every summer and last year we stopped at Davidson Brothers in Glen Falls (10-15 drive from LG). Very good food, and beer was excellent. Oatmeal Stout was especially tasty. At least this is in comparison to many of the other places in and around LG where food / beer list is mediocre at best.
The best beers you will find in LG are on tap at Judd's right in the village. He always has a solid rotating selection of Dogfish Head, Ballast Point, Evil Twin etc.. its also the only bar I go to in LG and I live 15 minutes away. EBI beverage in Saratoga is less than 5 minutes off exit 15 when youre on 87 south and is easily the best package store in the area. Plus always 3 solid beers on tap for growlers and always reasonably priced. If you need other info shoot me a BM I am very familiar with the area.
I like Adirondack Brewpub myself but in the summer time gets crazy busy. I personally think that Davidson Brothers is not worth the trip at all. Their beers are mediocre at best and the food is so so. Unfortunately, those are your only two choices in the area, unless you head farther south into Saratoga or even further into Albany.
I have to disagree on the above opinion on Davidson's. For a brewpub their beers are solid. They are fresh and rotate. They always have a wide variety. While they're not all wild and crazy, barrel-aged, extremely high ABV or whatever, they're all well done examples of styles. Garrett Oliver would approve. They also now have a rotating Goose Island tap which has rare brews. I think I had Minx last time. The owner of Goose Island is friends with the Davidson Brothers. I have not been as impressed with Cooper's Cave.
You mean the AB-Inbev? I have to agree that Davidson Brothers is very mediocre, but the area is full of hicks and rednecks, so you probably can't expect anything more. Judd's does sound promising, may have to check that out if I ever make it back to Lake George.
