Going to take a stab at this...any recommendations out there? Heading out there this weekend.

Let us know what you find. It's too hot to go there in the summer. Most people head there in the late winter/spring but you should find Mudsharks still there.

After all these years looking, I finally found the honey hole. Smith's grocery store has an awesome selection. They also have a great deli, so stock up while you're there!

Also, summer is the best time to be there and spend the day out on the water.

Thanks guys for the recommendations. I lucked out and happened to make a quick stop at Smiths (before seeing @Erictheipaman's reply) and it was a nice selection. Being from Cali it was nice to be able to get some Odell and Marble. There were some Arizona breweries (Santan Brewing, etc) that I wish I did my homework on to see if it was worth picking up. It also looked like there were more options for Bells than what is offered in Cali.

Hey guys, old post I see, but new to the site (sort of), anyway, I have lived in Lake Havasu forever, and I am now the kitchen manager at Havasu's newest brewery and restaurant. Hangar 24 from southern california opened up shop at the airport out in Havasu, great beer, and i'll obviously say great food, but hey, it's true! Truly great IPA's and seasonal releases. College street and Mudshark are two other local breweries that are pretty awesome as well. If you are looking to buy beer at a store though, I would recommend smith's as you said, they have the best selection for the best prices.

I drove through there a couple of weeks ago and saw that H24 was open from the road. I'd have stopped if we hadn't just eaten at Mudshark. I looked it up, and apparently its in the airport? Is the restaurant accessible without going through security or being out of place? Is it really meant for people who aren't using the airport?

It is in fact at the airport but not in, so no you don't need to go through any sort of security. It is a great place for anybody to hang out and have some beer and food. We have a patio out front that is right in front of the fence to the airport so you can chill and watch planes land and take off.

Sounds great! I'll stop I'm for sure next time I'm passing through.
