Anyone been or heard anything about it. Pretty decent list of brewers. About 1.5hrs from my place. Thinking about going and would like to hear thoughts. Time is 7-11pm on October 12th.
I was wondering the same thing. I believe it goes from 3pm to 7pm though. I live very close by but, I will be in VT picking up some Lawson's that morning. I was going to try and make it back for this. Would love it if they could put up a tap list on their website.
2012 was a blast minus the police being creeps and acting like under cover commands lol. Watch for weirdo's just trying to blend in and observe. Sadly, the fuzz do use the event as a trap-off. Whatever you do, don't drive. They set up road checks coming into placid from north and leaving to the South. On 86 and 9N. Thankfully, Lake Placid is loaded with hotels/motels. Cheers to Unlimited Samples!
That weekend is one of the busiest for our area. Columbus Day weekend paired with prime leaf peeping seems to draw a lot of folks up. Good luck with the hotel search. There are plenty in Lake Placid so you should be able to find something. There is a brand new Hampton Inn right next to the Lake Placid Pub & Brewery (not sure about availability, cost, etc.).
Anyone know the chance of getting tickets at the door or could this potentially sellout. If no hotel may go for the day if I can convince my wife to DD and find a baby sitter.
Wish I could make it, only 60 miles from me. Have my football league's championship that day. Have fun!
Did anyone go to this? Wondering what the taplist was like and whether or not people thought it was worth the money? I saw some pretty good breweries listed but was concerned that they would only offer things i can already buy consistently on the shelf. Any info. would be great! Thanks
