Does anybody have any more info on this event for 2013? Andy from BeerFM tipped me off to this and it sounds like a great event and I'll just happen to be in the area on Black Friday. I'm assuming it will be the same beer this year again (Imperial Black IPA) or is it a new beer this year?
It's happening. Same as last year. From what I've heard they made a lot more beer this year. So hopefully no butt hurt from all the people who showed up 4 hours after the doors opened.
Thanks, beerwolf! Assuming the times will be the same as last year as well, do you think showing up at 8:00am would secure bottle(s) or do you think it'll go quick and I should get there ahead to stand in line?
People who showed up at 8 last year got beer. So with more beer being produced this year you should be safe. However these are beer geeks we are dealing with. So the possibility of people lining up over night or mobbing the brewery is never out of the question.
I just remember freezing my ass off last year. I still have one bottle left. I'm curious as to how the taste has changed.
