got to try this yesterday. let me start by saying this is the creamiest dopplebock I have ever had... by far. such a silky smooth mouthfeel/body. Second, the maple definitely hits you on the first sip, but you kind of loose it a bit as you drink more of the beer. Vanilla pops in here and there, but overall, this is definitely a solid beer. get it, especially at 5 bucks

This sounds really good. Any chance it will be at Trig's in Eagle River after July 8?

It should be on the shelves for awhile. LFB beers aren't highly sought after. That said, not sure how much Trig's will get or how many people in Eagle River seek out beers like this.

Lakefront brought a cask of maple vanilla Bridge Burner to Chicago Craft Beer Week. It was awesome. I'll definitely pick this up.

Sounds great! Moving in less than 2 weeks back to Midwest.
Lakefront has some solid brews; going to be living equidistance between Milwaukee and Chicago.

Tried this brew last night. It was good, wouldnt say it was something i'd seek out. But like said by someone else, at $5.... you can't pass this up if you see it.

Got to try Chad last night, for 5 bucks I could not miss picking up a few more bottles, so went back to the store and they where all gone. Asked a clerk who said that was not right since they still had 5 in stock, we ended up finding all five of them shoved behind a case of Miller...I bought three of them, two for friends out of town and one more to keep myself, figured I would leave the other 2 for whoever felt the urge to hide them away.
