Parents are in Lakeland and offered to do a beer run. They are near 570 and S Florida Ave. Can I get a recommendation on somewhere nearby them that I can call, get some in stock recommendations, have them put it together for me and (optionally) accept a phone payment? It would be a purchase I'll make worth someone's time. Ideally I'd like my parents to just be able to drive over and pick it up. I live in Atlanta so I get whatever drops here. Feel free to suggest things I can try that will be available there and not here. Favs are sours, BA picks, anything with coffee, English Barleywines, and pretty much anything world class rated (or close to it). The wife likes ciders and meads so throw those in as well. I have not had much of anything that doesn't distribute in Atlanta as I don't travel much.
My suggestions would be Beer Revolution. It's about 5 minutes from your parents and locally owned. Also, Tucker's Southside is great too. Call and ask for Jamie, she's fantastic. My neighbor and I affectionately refer to her as the Beer Mistress.
