Lambics/Sours in the North Shore

You may want to check out Redstone Liquors' site - they do a good job of keeping the beer list pretty up to date. I'm not a sour/lambic guy but I'm pretty sure I've seen FFF and Boon in there. They are also quick to reply on FB if you want to hit them up there for specifics.

 

The Kappy's on 114 in Danvers (not Peabody) carries a number of lambics and sours, probably not Cantillion but Mikkeller and stuff, Lost Abbey, etc. (I would ask if the beer guy is around though.) I'm pretty sure I've seen a quantity of Boon in there. I feel bad for the beer guy there because that store doesn't seem to get much traffic but it does carry beers that are not available in most surrounding stores, but the hard core beer geeks skip it in favor of Redstone.

 

Redstone is probably your best bet. Go to the right side of the row that starts after the register on the right wall, about half way down the aisle, knee high on left side opposite the wall.

Try the Cantillon store on Cantillon St, in the Cantillon district

If you are in the Beverly Danvers area people normally go to Bogie's aka Alexander's knowledgeable owner, decent beer selection and you get to say hi to bogie the bulldog. Kappy's has lambics and sours? I never saw any when I took a look a couple of weeks ago, where do they hide?

 

You were in the one down by Walmart and not the one across from the mall? Half his beer selection is imports, seems like, and like I said above I know there was Miks/Boone etc.

Thanks for the Bogie's tip, I actually live in Gloucester and much of Beverly remains a mystery to me.
