We put out After Midnight a couple weeks ago, and have a milk stout in the fermenters right now!

Cool, I got After Midnight and i really liked it, though IMO the maple syrup flavor was lacking. I'd be interested in what the base beer was like without the vanilla and maple. I'm looking forward to more dark beers from y'all. Like my last comment was a joke but i'm tired of every new brewery having like 5 ipas and maybe a porter and a stout. Regardless, thats not something to put on y'all and i'm looking forward to a milk stout from you.

Edit: Damn I just ruined my joke comment by making it serious

Maple is stupid hard to work with, future batches should have some more emphasis to both the vanilla and the maple flavor.

Got it, the humor went right over my head, as usual!

didn't love this as much as people itt. Good, not great. Much preferred pressure drop and rabbit rabbit. Rabbit rabbit I realllly liked.

Cuppa is pretty nice but not a style I'm craving pretty awesome.

not technically a stout, but Werewolves is an awesome porter. no gimmicky flavors or double digit ABV rendering it a shares-only specialty. just a great dark beer.

I also love BOAF. easy drinking but still full flavored NEIPA.

I found Werewolves tasty but was shocked by the amount of sludge left over. After the first can I was very careful pouring.

Agreed. A few offerings are basically always available at Yankee Spirits in Swansea down in the no man's land of the south coast.

Picked up Lucid Nonsense and Sound & Vision cranberry today. Lucid I liked quite a bit but it'd be great if the finish were a bit drier. Still, great beer. S&V very nice. Nice no frills kettle sour.

Finally made it to the brewery yesterday and had a great time. Cool space and probably the best array of board games I've come across. Plus I have something of an addiction to Goldfish so their free bar snacks were a dream.

I still don't love their IPAs for whatever reason but I did enjoy Pressure Drop and Lucid Nonsense well enough. I thought the Cranberry Sour was the tastiest thing I had actually.

Both The Upsidedown and Milou were just alright imo, in terms of recent output, but After Midnight really rocked (pun intended... groan). Always like picking up new stuff from these guys, though, considering I'm interested in how their recipes and styles change as the brewery grows.

I'll be checking out the taproom tomorrow for the first time and picking up my MT.

I'm upgrading my Lucid Nonsense score. This stuff is killer. You don't see a lot of centennial in new-age IPAs anymore but it's awesome when done right. Really good stuff. Prob a top 5 IPA I've had in the past few months.

    • This fridge is too full of Major Tom. Reckon I should make some space

checked out the space for the first time tonight. Place was pretty packed but we had a good time. I had a delicious pressure drop.

Picked up birds of a feather and major tom on the way out. Had one of each. I will reserve judgement on MT because I had it right after birds of a feather, but initial impression is it doesn't meet the hype itt. As far as galaxy bombs go this is fairly muted. But having it after a heavy mosaic/citra beer can skew things. I actually really liked Birds of a Feather.

So far, Lucid Nonsense is my favorite IPA I've had from them. I'll also give them credit in general as each of their beers has a distinct "lamplighterness" to them. All in all really impressed with what they're doing.

The first run of MT tasted like a cousin of TH Green, this batch does not...yet.

I didn't get a chance to have the first batch of MT but based on reviews, I preordered a couple 4 packs and I'm really happy I did. Picked them up earlier today and had one with dinner, so good! Noticed the abv went up a little from 6.5 to 6.8 abv,

I guess I will continue to walk by Lamplighter instead of stopping in.

And I'm glad someone finally said that it was like a cousin to Green instead of the wink wink nod nods that have been going around.

Yeah it tastes awesome, but I might give it a week to come together. Loving what Lamplighter are doing
