Lamplighter Brewing

Can you explain what a pre-release is and how one goes about getting the beer? Can't find any info on the lamplighter website about this.

Hey -
Essentially we just allow you to prepay and reserve four packs for some of our special release beers. They also become available for pick up before the beer is released to the public. Links and details will go up on all of our various social media platforms a week or so before the beer comes out.

 

just wanted to say I picked up some Birds of a Feather yesterday, 1/17 canning I think. It's sharing a fridge with Julius, Green, and Tornado, and it's in a battle with Tornado for my favorite hoppy beer in the fridge.

 

Thoughts on Rabbit, Rabbit? I see they are having a can release tomorrow? Is this the kind of thing where I need to go there tomorrow or I won't be able to get it? Thanks.

 

Up until now it has usually made it to stores. Nice, but always a little too much alcohol taste for me. I'm sure they'll dial it in over time

 

Do you think I need to trek to the brewery to get my hands on it or can I wait till it hits the craft store shelves?

 

It'll make it to stores. Canned Wednesday - scheduling snafu bumped it a day.

 

Don't know what their plans are for this batch but it's always made its way to shelves previously.

Check their website. They have a great map of everywhere they distribute to. Find your locals and give them a call to see if they are getting it.

Interesting. Has anyone ever had a Denali hop-forward beer?

And @ACJones119 any chance this will be on draft this weekend? I’m probably going to check out the taproom expansion and would love to try before i buy as my fridge is pretty full right now.

 

Unfortunately not - we don't keg down for the taproom until after the canning run is completed, so this won't hit the taproom until Thursday most likely. really excited for this one, very similar to MT but even harder Dole pineapple.

Not the same beer, obviously, but this week's release of All Gold Everything is one of my favorites we've done in recent memory. White peach and juice in an easy sipper - so I think you'll be pretty happy with the options when you come hang this week.

 

Ok thanks, what % of cases of Denali will be up for pre-order? I’ll most likely go back next week too since that’s the case.

I’ll give AGE a shot and I’m excited to try Moondance too so all in all not too broken up about it.

 

Is All Gold Everything hitting distro? Label is en fuego and it sounds delicious.

 

Preserve and Protect from Bissell was hopped ( I think most prominently) with Denali. Tasted like pineapple juice.

 

My beer fridge is full... but I'm not sure if the 2 4-packs I just preordered is enough haha

 

75 cases for preorder, 25 for the general public.

 

Yup available only at the brewery until Monday when it will start going out

 

The latest Revolution Box of Heros has a Denali IPA. Very pineapple

 

Apollo Sunshine is very well done as a German pils.

 

Grabbed a 4pk of the McKinley last night. Its alright. Pineapple nose and taste. A bit one dimensional.

 

Anyone check out the expanded tap room last night? Did the extra space help?
