The quick answer... no. At least, not on Friday Saturday. It's slightly less dense in there (somewhat lower number of people per square feet over the two spaces) but so far on Friday Saturday we're seeing it fill up around the same time.
The rest of the week, however, much better. Weekend it seems it's still going to be full.

Hey people! I am coming to Boston this weekend and staying at the Omni Parker House. Should I hit up Lamplighter? If so, can you recommend a beer or two? Not sure what their specialties are. I am from NJ so I get to enjoy lots of great NEIPA & stout, as a reference. If you have any other bar ideas near me I'll happily take them, too. Cheers!

you can take the red line to central square and walk to Lamplighter fairly easily. (I'd suggest dinner at the little donkey afterward but thats just me) At lamplighter, any of their IPAs are great - I think their maple stout is very nice... now that Im writing, in my opinion you cant really go wrong with any of their offerings. Id suggest the trip over that way.

Agree. And if you’re already at Lamplighter, you’re a stone’s throw from all three of Lord Hobo, Meadhall & Cambridge Brewing Company which make for a pretty good crawl overall. You could also take the Red Line to Kendall and do this stretch in reverse.

Major Tom for sale again! So stoked, this has to be my favorite non-Trillium Boston area beer.

Nice, just pre-ordered a 4pk. Never had it before, so I'm curious and excited.

Also online pre-orders for big beer releases should be more of a regular thing. Stress free and easy!

cool, ordered. In case anyone else is having trouble finding the link:

Grabbed a mixed 4 of LG&H and rabbit rabbit this week. This version of LG&H is a lot closer to the first time I had it...way better than batch 2.

Also had my last can of Not Mckinley last night....I really enjoyed it, sharp pineapple.... not like dank pineapple from galaxy.

Between Trillium, Lamplighter and now even Mystic it's a good time to be a hazebro in Boston.

@ACJones119 do you think Richard III will be around for take away next week? Sounds interesting.

Like most are saying I really enjoy the online pre-order. Could easily get used to this being more common with certain case counts being reserved for the service. Bought two 4-packs and I'm really excited to finally try Major Tom. I've only had a small sampling of their portfolio to be honest. Birds of a Feather and Rabbits were both beers worth repeat buys for me.

While I’ve been lucky enough to snag a couple of 4 packs from each of the previous releases, this beer is so good, and the ordering process so convenient, I couldn’t resist ordering a couple of more!

It's a killer! Super juicy with a wicked dry bite at the finish. Best batch yet.

I skipped as I'm a bit galaxy'd out and I have a few cans of Fort Hill El Chapo left (which is also awesome), but it seems this will be a semi-regular release. I'll stock up next time.

This tastes wildly similar to Green, and I love. it. Genuinely a treat.

How limited is the distro on MT? Any chance middleton beer & wine will get some? Need some galaxy in my life but don't wanna drive an hour towards the city if I don't have to.

I don't think it's hitting distro but I could be wrong.
