Maybe because they only have 125 cases (100 for the presale) and it might have been nice to spread it out over more people?

Still, I imagine many people won't buy the full two cases.

I like pre sales. Makes it much easier for the customer to buy and pick up. Probably helps the brewery manage on site sales too

He's not saying presales are dumb. He's saying a theoretical 9 full allotments for presale is dumb.

I'm bad at math. 50 full allotments. Still not very many.

Would love to see the math that turned 100/2 into 9.

I did 100/12 four packs. Conversions are hard.

Also bit the bullet and ordered 3 packs, one going to a friend. Major Tom and Dinner in the same week. Score.

Based on the previous sales numbers, this should be just fine, and if it isn't we'll adjust it for the next one. Also, still plenty of cases available for the presale, so if you were worried about being able to get some... your window is still wide open.

I went ahead and ordered a couple 4 packs of Major Tom.

Interested to see the taproom and try a couple of their other beers as well since I've only had Birds of a Feather so far which I really liked.

There's one less case in the pre-sale. This was in the top 3 NEIPA for me in 2017. You can forget trips to Charlton (not that I made many to begin with) when this is released.

Agreed, really surprised Lamplighter hasn’t caught more traction. Their IPAs are up there (and sometimes exceeding) TH, Trillium.

I moved out of Boston town about six months back and only came across distro'd Lamplighter recently while passing through Somerville. The Cuppa's good and distinctive and the Rabbit Rabbit is fantastic. I look forward to checking out more of their stuff and kick myself for the twelve-hundredth time for having moved out of town.

I don't know where you moved to but their distribution is surprisingly wide: http://www.lamplighterbrewing.com/availability

    Lawyers and MT are excellent.

MT is easily one of the best IPAs I had this year.

But I'll be glad if it stays quiet, for purely selfish reasons.

Glad to see Major Tom is back. Put me down for a couple four packs! Definitely one of the better IPA's that I've had this year too.
