Can anyone give me a heads-up on places in the Westchester/Putnam area of NY that sell large tulip glasses? The 13 - 14 oz. size is what I'm looking for. I've check a number of restaurant supply websites but most are not complete as far as the smaller items they sell and I'm not inclined to order them online since I don't trust any of the popular shippers to deliver them in one piece.
No need to pay alot of money or shop around, just stop into any Dollar Store, Dollar General, etc. and you will likely find what you are looking for. And have money left over to fill it up with something good.
I'll check it out but I do want a better quality glass though, not one that will break if I squeeze it too hard or happen to tap the bottle on the rim.
You can pay more if you like but they are the same quality as the more expensive ones. I have ordered $10 glasses from breweries and sat them side by side the $1 glass and its the same glass (without the logo). You can also try Crate and Barrel but again, you are paying more for the same quality. And you can buy a glass for $100, if you drop it, it will break just like the $1 glass.
