    Mason Ale Works is releasing B.A Baracus a Barley Wine so good, that I’ve decided that 1/9/2020 is officially B.A Baracus day! What’s is B.A Baracus? It’s a BBA Barleywine Aged in Cutwater Bourbon Barrels for a year, this limited release was named after Mason’s Favorite A Team Character. Baracus is full of rich toffee, plum, vanilla, and rich cherry notes. Let this brew warm up to 50 degrees to fully appreciate its complexity.

    Not only are we having a B.A Baracus can release, but Grant the owner of Mason Ale Works is coming out with an insane line up of kegs for a tap take over with some super rare and limited offerings. We will be tapping:
    1. Cozy Catastrophe 2.0 - DIPA
    2. B.A Baracus - BA Barleywine
    3. Jambi - West Coast IPA
    4. Second Son ( 1 of only 5 kegs in existence! ) - Blend of 50% BA Baracus & 50% BA Cash
    5. Respeto - Mexican Style Lager
    6. Cash - Imperial Coffee Stout
    7. Locker Room Supply - Hazy IPA
    8. Annie Oakley - Brett Saison in Oak with Apricots
    9. Peer Pressure - Hazy IPA
    10. Raspberry Pillow - Milkshake IPA
    11. Velvet Speedway 2017 ( Super Rare Keg ) Stout aged in 60 y/o Spanish Sherry barrels, 24 y/o Central American Rum Barrels & 23 y/o Evan Willams Bourbon barrows. Infused with Madagascar Vanilla beans, Jamaican Blue Mountain & Kopi Luwak Cold Brew from Mostra.

    Spent most of December in Vegas, hit a few new places.

    Beer Zombies Bottle Shop in South Summerlin has great draft pours, to-go bottles/cans. Bartenders and customers are very friendly, SkinnyFat food is on point (loved the Nashville Hot, they have additional hot sauce). Next trip in is at the end of February, looking forward to hitting the Beer Festival and future visits to their bottle shop.

    Was also able to hit Able Baker and CraftHaus new spots in the Arts District. Able Baker was excellent, didn't try their food but will on a future visit. Chris Kael Impaled Ale was my favorite Nevada brewed pour of the trip, had many good ones.

    CraftHaus modern space, beer good. Tenaya Creek, Astronomy AleWorks, Lovelady Brewing great as always. Hit Chicago Brewing at 4 Queens, very smokey but great service and decent pours. Also had a few good specialty pours at 777 @ Main Street Station.

    Vegas Beer Scene continues to improve over time, looking forward to continued growth and great offerings in the 2020s!

    ...but did you try/get the Holiday Nog at Ellis Island? Not beer but oh so freakin' tasty!

    Yes, I wouldn’t miss it, our annual (4th consecutive year) tradition. Had it in the new front of house space which was very nice, not smokey.

    You can find a few LV locals on the strip and depending where you are there will be some others sprinkled in. If you want to stock up for the weekend swing by the shop and grab some cans to go. Today 1/24 10% off cans for the anniversary of the first canned beer

    Do the brewers bring enough to last beyond the first hour, or do "whales" typically tap out before GA admission? Asking after noting Cantillon.
