last 12 month beer rating

    Some beers that may have seemed "excellent" 10 years ago may only beer "good" by today's standards. Or maybe a recipe gets tweaked and the beer actually gets better.

    In addition to an average of all of the ratings ever for a beer, it might be useful to also have an average for a beer for the last 12 months. Or something like that.

    Ok I thought you wanted another top 250 for the last 12 months. I still don't see a need. Older reviews are still valuable.

    Agreed. An example for me is Gubna. This is a totally different and much better beer than it was a few years ago.

    Good idea! A last 12 month average would be great. Or even just a simple "arrow" (pointing up or down) showing how the beer is trending over the past year.

    I don't think it would make sense to add another score - that would just make it too confusing. The reviews are already sorted by date with the most recent being first, so if a beer isn't as good/is much better now than the overall score would indicate you can see that pretty easily by looking at the more recent reviews.

    As well, for annual/seasonal releases, it would be good to have different 'vintages' in a way in order to compare variation between each time they produce it, as often times the properties can be different. It would also make it easier to compare effects of again in these cases by number of years.
