Late night BA - Friday

Finishing a Racer X now and probably moving onto an Anchorage The Tide and It's Takers. I freaking love Anchorage's beers so I have high expectations for this one!

 

Had a Samuel Adams Whitewater IPA and a Southern Tier Oak Aged Unearthy Imperial IPA which was quite tasty.

 

Had a Hanssens Experimental Raspberry Lambic and it was freaking awful. Now on to a FBS.

 

I just got back from NEBCO's Final Friday party. Drinks included: HotD Fred, Sweetwater Dank Tank Mean Joe Bean, NEBCO Elm City Lager, NEBCO Sea Hag, NEBCO Imperial Stout Trooper, and NEBCO Saison. Good stuff all around.

That All Day IPA from Founders. Surprised by how much I liked it.

 

Started at Wolff's Biergarten, Albany, NY, with a half liter of Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier and followed it with a liter of
Bitburger, finished with a half of Aventinus. Ready for some U.S. hops, drinking Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale.
Listening to Mahavishnu Orchestra - Birds of Fire

Drinking some Bitter End from Two Brothers...really solid Pale Ale.

 

Finishing my first ever Nugget Nectar. I approve!

 

PTE bottled on 2/6/12. Full orgasm.

 

Just rewatched the last ep of Game of Thrones and accompanied it with my new favorite blend of Weyerbacher Old Heathen and Schlenkerla Urbock. The Old Heathen is smooth, maybe not so assertive, but that makes this blend so seamless- rich, dark, and slightly smoky. We can't get Alaskan Smoked Porter here, so this is my 'next best thing'. Anyway, the mood of the beer and the mood of the show went pretty perfectly together.

And now, it's off to some music with a Lagunitas Maximator. Have a good one, folks.

The Audacity of Hops by Cambridge Brewing Co. Great title and a solid beer. Now working on a Ruthless Rye. Raining like crazy here in NH - where the eff is the snow?!

 

Weihenstephaner Vitus for me tonight. Definitely cannot complain.
