Beck's. Haven't had Beck's in forever, but you know what? It was light and pleasant. Not great by any means, but I enjoyed it in between the slices of carrot cake and chocolate cake that I was eating.

Had Founders All Day IPA's while watching the draft, hoping Wheadon will turn out to be a good pick.

At Aleworks. Had a Bombay Rogue first and then followed it with a Double Standard DIPA.

May have another one at home.

    What a great picture!
I'm drinking this as well, for the first time. Very, very good, but I haven't determined if it is too bitter for me or not. Truly a "wallop" in the face!

    Tonight was pretty decent:

Name says it all. The aromas with very inviting with tons of tart lemon and apple; but the flavors were extremely earthy and spicy. Not what I wanted at all. This is not offensive and quite enjoyable however. Looking forward to trying IT'S ALIVE! though(which I bought last week).

Great stuff! This was definitely brewed with hefeweizen yeast, and I reallly enjoyed this one. Nice balance of christmas spices and nice hefeweizen flavor esters(lots of banana and bubblegum). Fricking delicious. This was my first Japanese beer ever. I have the XH in the cellar, and I will pick up some more stuff soon enough.

Very nice Belgian IPA. Picked this up over Easter weekend in OH, so it was fairly fresh stuff. There was some noticeable earthy yeast esters that overtook the hops in the aromas though. But other than that really smooth and enjoyable. Nice hop and Belgian spicy flavor balance.

When this was first released last year, I wasnt very into this album. Definitely grew on me though, one of my favorite bands ever. The New Mythology Suite is probably their best, but it is a hard choice from the ones produced in late 90's-early 2000's. Russel Allen writes some damn good lyrics, and has once of the best vocal ranges in metal. Also: Michael Romeo, no comments needed.

I worry about the bears here, but the coyotes? Well, it's nice to have a coyote hating neighbor nearby who is a crack shot all I gotta say, haven't seen one of those bastards on my land for over ten years.

Had a great whirlwind visit to CCB today; sampled Apple Brandy Zhukov and shook hands with Wayne Wambles (who had no idea who the fanboy was who was interrupting his rounds). Topping it off with my first growler ever; 32 oz. of Jai Alai hop heaven.

Picked up Bootlegger's Galaxian today at the release and drinking it now. Smells great and initial flavors follow suit, but very bittering finish. Too dry and bitter. I bet this one does better with some age.
