    While many of you have had to deal with extreme heat it remained a bit warm but dry here on Long Island today.

    The heat and humidity are both going to climb tomorrow according to my local weather report and I'm not looking forward to it.

    I picked up a few things at the supermarket today after work including this beer...

    I won that glass at the arcades of Six Flags Great Adventure, NJ (Exit 7A) in 1975.​
    ​
    For some reason the beer just tastes better from that glass.​

    First off a Miller High Life, getting to be a habit, eh?

    Then, a Schell Burton Ale...all that delicious malt.

    Now, a Pako's that I intentionally sat on the window sill. It got into the upper 90s here. It's very warm drinking to say the least but I wanted to see how sturdy it was. It's still hoppy but I find a very high level of a grainy flavour now. Experiment now has ceased to exist...

    Watching the White Sox/Yankees game.

    Drinking a Java Head from Tröegs, I am not a fan of this beer.

    I am going to have to pick out something better when I'm done with the Java Head.

    I got lucky tonight. Traveling on business and found Cantillon Rose' De Gambrinus on tap, my jaw was on the bar - darn tasty and won't get you trashed in 0-60.

    I only drink Alpine beers straight from the growler. No glass needed here. They will both be gone in a few hours and then heading back tomorrow :slight_smile:

    I came to bring the pain. Here it is. Have some, I have plenty.



    Seriously I pick up the pain at work and bring it home. Stiff joints and little aches make the beer taste nice at the end of the day. On that note, I'm drinking one of Pretty Things's "Once Upon a Time" English milds tonight, which strikes me as just the sort of thing a worker would drink at the end of the day.

    Just hit my 12th hour at work... looks like ill be here another 2 to 4??? Hoping to just make it 2! I will have a Lost Abbey Deliverance when I get home - gotta do something before bed.
