Tonite my wife started with the Monks Cafe Flemish Sour Ale which I got a few tastes of then I poured a 2012 SN Bigfoot which prolly should have rested for a while as it's kinda harsh.

 

Deviant Dale's while contemplating dinner. Underwhelming beer.
Zombie Dust x3 while grilling, eating, and cleaning up after NY strips, peppers/onions and bruschetta all on the grill.
Now sipping on a Founders Breakfast Stout while watching JV struggle a little against the hated Yankees.

There's likely one more beer tonight. Maybe Ten Fidy?

Getting ready to crack open one of these, then watch another episode of ``Game of Thrones'' via Netflix (love the books - really enjoying the miniseries).

 

Started with Deviant Dale's, then Gubna, Hoptimum, and finishing with a Oak Aged Chocolate Yeti. Another awesome beer night!

 

Drinking a bomber of 4Hands Brewing Co.'s War Hammer Imperial IPA. Very solid offering from the fine folks in St. Louis, MO.

 

Getting ready for the Preds/Coyotes. Had a Resin, didn't think it was that great, on to Pinkus Jubilate, smells unique, tastes unique too, but it seems infected. I know it is supposed to be a throwback style lager to days without modern technology.

 

I hear there's this really good beer made there. Budweiser. Ever hear of it?

 

I said the FINE folks of St. Louis, MO....not the dregs.

 

Came home from work and cracked open a Hopslam. Now I'm drinking some Pliny and watching night two of the draft. Have a good weekend everyone.

Today is my day of birth.

Went out to the Salty Pig in Boston with the significant other for dinner and drinks.

Started with a Nugget Nectar on draft...mmmmm...mmmmm



Followed that with a SN Hoptimum on draft (no picture). Enjoyed some fresh cow cheese, oven roasted pork shoulder, pork belly gnocchi, and prosciutto pizza.

Now hanging at home watching "The Rum Diary" while enjoying this:



Not a bad day at all.

Tomorrow is "help the parents stain their deck" day, and planning on bringing over a bottle of Sucaba to sip on while doing it!
