While I will agree that La Trappe Quad is definitely not your normal Quad as expected from others that are more well known; it blew my damn face off when I had it. LOVE it. I bought the Oak Aged a couple weeks ago as well, can't wait for that.

Just had a Fred, my first Hair of the Dog Beer and it was freakin incredible. Kicking myself for having waited this long to get some, I'll be getting Adam next time I go on a beer run!

dubbel, belgian strong dark ale, quad = all the same "style". all that's going on is that you like rochefort 10 better than la trappe quad (i feel the same way). i like la trappe quad too, but rochefort 10 is too good.

No need for a Diet Pepsi, I am locked out. My guess, I didn't correctly remember or type my answers from 8 years ago. Bring on the hop henge:astonished::grinning:

Drinking some Ellie's Brown Ale now with some reading material:

I got a Porter to design for next week for a AHA comp, so I need to get going on this book. I already designed it in brewtarget, but I will use the book to tweak my current recipe.

I also need to rebuild my tun, I used a zinc washer accidentally in my brown ale mash. It will still turn out great(I am sure). But I bought some SS washers that are a touch too large so the tun leaks. So I will be buying some grommets to seal up the fitting of the build.

Nope. Random house party --> Alto Cinco --> Taps tonight. Two PBRs, pint of Sixpoint Harbinger saison, 12oz pour of Flying Dog Kujo imperial coffee stout, and then a vodka tonic and a couple of shitty slices of pizza. Wonderfulness.
