Went to the weekly beer tasting at my local bottle shop. Among other things, had Avery's Samael 2007, 2009, 2010, and 2011. Obviously, I'm feeling a bit fatigued. Going to take a little nap now.

Yeah, thought I would throw a little zing to the title to shake things up for a Friday night, sorry to confuse the masses!

I poured this, and hadn't even considered the whole 'bacon' angle. But, hey, if that's what gets you by then:

Which one is in the glass? How's about both! Smoky double stout, nothin' better in my world.

There's also some Nugget Nectar, Vitus and Spaten lying around for the rest of the weekend, but this is a heck of a kick-start.

    Starting with Short's Golden Rule.

My fridge gave up the ghost today. All the bottles of beer have done a really good job at keeping the temperature steady.

As for later, whatever is on tap at the Lager House in Detroit. Perhaps I'll have my first Oberon of the year.

Alpine Duet, past it's prime Double Trouble and now DFH 75 minute. I'm in a drinking mood with the awesome weather and baseball on the tele.

Wow...nice mix! I love me some ASR, never had any of them (or even thought to mix) with a stout. Good call

I had a Resin from @trixdout and now I'm on to a Belgian Quad Homebrew, probably finishing up with a 2010 Expedition Stout...cheers.

    What you drinking?

That one is a very good blend. It also works well with Weyerbacher Old Heathen- smooth, not too hoppy, not too boozy.
