Late Night BeerAdvocate - Friday

Had my first ever Schlenkerla Urbock. Wow! What a fantastic beer. And I'm going to finish the night with a Tank 7 or two.

Decided to start my evening in a nostalgic way. Drinking the first craft beer I ever had; Rogue Chocolate Stout.

 

I'm having trouble finding Hopzilla.. and I'm literally... 1 hour from the brewery. They are limiting it to 1 4 pack around here, and it was on draft at my local place, but blew quickly. DAMN!

 

Had 3 Hoptimums earlier which I thought were pretty decent. Not a favorite, but pretty good.

Followed those three up with a North Coast Grand Cru - drain pour.

Trying to wash the taste out of my mouth with a Bell's Third Coast. Trying to avoid popping something I won't finish...

 

Started the night out with a pounder of Tampa Bay Brewing Company Old Elephant Foot IPA enjoyed in the shower I took right after work. Since then, I've had a Magic Hat #9 and a Magic Hat Elder Berry while working on some homework. Probably going to partake in a few strong beers before hitting the sack for the 9AM-7PM tomorrow. Got plenty of work to finish tomorrow too since my partner is out sick, I'll need more than a few beers after tomorrow.

About to crack my first Zombie Dust. My hands are shaking with excitement!

 

Hoptimum is soooooo good. I've got 5 of them in the fridge.. Tempted to pop one after this KBS, but I'm gonna call it quits tonight. Borderline pissing on the toilet seat.

 

I know the feeling of a good "road soda"... I'm 6 mins from the house from work and my mini fridge in my office is stocked up!
