Decided I'm going to punk my dad tomorrow before I leave by pouring some Schlenkerla Urbock without telling him what a rauchbier is.

Now enjoying a bomber of Phat Matt's IPA and listening to some Now It's Overhead while working on a project. Not quite the profile I was expecting for this IPA- fairly sweet and malty, with little hop presence. Missing the mark with regard to style, IMO. With that being said though, I'm surprisingly digging it...

Lagunitas Little Sumpin Sumpin (Pretty good, but Gumballhead is still my favorite Pale Wheat Ale; Also can't wait for Oberon to come out.), Bells Two Hearted Ale (Yup, still my favorite ipa), Boulevard Tank7 (Great Saison. One of my favorites), and Sierra Nevada Bigfoot (Last year I drainpoured this beer. I must've been fucking crazy. This shit is excellent.)

Started with a Brooklyn Lager which I cant seem to get eough of. Then a Bluegrass Brewing Saison Farmhouse Ale(my first Saison) which totally missed the mark, unlike the Kentucky hoops team this weekend! Anyways, shifted gears with a Shiner Bock and now enjoying a quite surprising Saranac Imperial Stout. Will likely cleanse my palette with a Yuengling Light Lager before calling it a night.

Namaste was a surprisingly solid witbier, I thought—loved the lemongrass. I'd love to see it in 12oz bottles sometime!
