    Palate Wrecker followed by a Torpedo. Working on my first 50/50 Eclipse (EC12) and am not disappointed...very bourbon forward and delicious. Might be it...might pop an Obsidian Stout before I call it a night. Cheers to all on this fine Mother's Day!

    I have had a great day, had a Fulton Libertine imperial red ale at their tap room while watching the MN Twins beat the Blue Jays, then a Bourbon County at a generous BA's house after I accidently left my camera at his house at a tasting on Friday and now I am wrapping up the night with a 21st Amendment IPA.

    Very nice stuff. I actually forgot this was in my fridge until recently lol. Lots of caramel backbone with plenty of hop flavor. nicely balanced

    I think we have found my new favorite black IPA. it is amazing what a single specialty grain can do. Very nice roasted malt backbone and extreme balance with hop flavors. I love when black IPAs are not over the hill with hop flavors. This fits the bill.

    Probably my favorite Kreator album of all time. Looking forward to this years release next month though.

    I prefer "inoffensive" beer, as opposed to "offensive" beers. Quite happy with Sam and Sierra, thank you.

    A wonderful evening of beer, starting with Two Bros. Ebel Weiss and Lost Abbey Carnavale with Veggie Lasagna. Afterwards I popped my bottle of New Belgium Coco Mole(very nice, unique) and now having dessert, '12 KBS.

    Long weekend of mother's day festivities...yesterday hit up the vineyards and Greenport Harbor brewery and a few tasty treats later in the evening...then today was the family BBQ where i hardly had a moment to sit down. shared a growler of Nugget Nectar, and bottles of New Glarus Belgian Red, New Glarus Raspberry Tart, an 09 Drie Fonteinen Oude Geuze with the family. now settling into my reward for surviving the weekend.
