My first opportunity to kick this off. I'm currently enjoying a Zombie Dust and toasting our country and all of my fellow BA's on this very hot 4th of July. So what's in your glasses this fine evening?

Damnit! I was going to start this and title it "ex-pat edition" since I haven't been in the U.S. for the 4th since 2010. But hey, congrats on your first LNBA, it's a fun tradition.

And I think I'll have an Antárctica Pilsen pounder, which is nice in hot weather. I don't know about everyone else, but at least every once in a while I'm more than happy to have some watery, ice-cold AAL or four.

4th of July arithmetic goes something like this...

One bottle of Three Floyds Apocalypse Cow plus one bottle of Stone Ruination 10th Anniversary
    [IMG] [IMG]

    plus one ``fat strat''....
...equals one relaxing July 4th. I hope yours was too!

Drinking a bunch of Bud's with my Dad. The old man generally insists on the Bud Light half yard.

    Fullsteam Summer Basil
Fullsteam Working Man's Lunch float with salted caramel ice cream
    Fullsteam Southern Lager

Now working on a sixer of Rolling Rock. Not american owned I know, but Americans drink cheap beer and listen to country music, right? well Eric Church is blaring and Rolling Rock is disappearing. Just like in college when I bought it for the same low price ($4.99/six) and sat in the front yard in a lawn chair with the roommates.

I find them to be very different and not really comparable. To me, the Apocalypse Cow (which has lactose added) is like a slightly sweeter version of Dreadnaught. It reminds me a little of Bell's Hopslam. The Ruination 10th Anniversary is more like a hop bomb nuclear missile. Both are (obviously) outstanding.

posting from a picture message from my 2007 phone renders a bad image, and using my digital camera then transferring it interferes with drinking and grilling right now.

The guitar has been broken around the neck and repaired pretty nicely. It doesnt look like much, but its survived a ton.

And it's only fitting for the 4th to be listening to (NWS list at your own risk):
