HOT DAMN. Really enjoyed that beer. Just another regular for the lineup.

Great article about Pipeworks, their beginnings, philosophy on beer, barrel-aged program and more...

This really caught my attention "Keep an eye out for updates on the brewery's bottle shop, planned for the coming months... We've seen it and it does exist—trust us."

Picked up a Blueberry Cichild yesterday. I tend to love blueberry/beer combinations, so take this FWIW, but I thought it was excellent. The mix of blueberry tartness & sweetness along with a PW style IIPA went great. Worth picking up if you have any $$$ left

I believe I read somewhere that Blueberry Cichlid is just a rebranding of Queen Bee. Same beer, new packaging. I liked Queen Bee a lot, so I think I will pick one of these bottles up.

I believe I read this as well. I too really enjoyed Queen Bee.

Sorry, I just realized I called the beer by the wrong name. It was Killer Queen, not Queen Bee as I stated above. Not a big deal, but I just wanted to clarify.

LOL - I figured it out. Was good to know. I looked up the labels on their site and the only difference between the two label descriptions is blueberry vs blueberry puree, which is probably no difference at all.

I believe the new berliners are an entirely new recipe compared to the older ones.

Curious as to what their next BA release will be and when. It’s been a while.

Jones Dog and Hyper Dog were about this time last year, but were extremely limited, I think only 40 or so cases were shipped.

I was just thinking about this last week, knowing that last year's release was in mid-December. It'd be cool to see something in December, and hopefully I can grab some again. I have pretty much loved all their BA stouts.

I had BA Hyper Dog on draft a while ago and really enjoyed it. Not as much coffee as I'd thought, but seemed really smooth as BA stouts go.

Also relevant to this thread - if you like 3F Gumballhead, I'd recommend Blood Orange Guppy. Reminded me of GBH with a tad more hops and a twinge of orange. Very good if you can find one of the places they're trickling it out to on draft!

Same fruits. While I'm sure there is variability in Berliner recipes, what would an entirely new Berliner recipe entail? I haven't tried the rebranded ones so can't opine on differences to the OGs. Maybe royalty/licensing with og label artist.

Anyone see the tweets on Friday with the fridge? Maybe prepping a bottle shop? Taproom?

Had both of these on draft recently and was really impressed by Hyper Dog. Jones Dog didn't do a ton for me.
