I never jump on or criticize people because I'm a cherry, positive person but 2 points - Who's not a fan of saisons? And who doesn't like End of Days? Sir, you are the yin to my yang. Again this is meant as lighthearted and not malicious to the moderators reading this (see the emoticon).....just wondering what's wrong with saisons & end of days.

Maybe it was the first batch? Nice flavor on that one but the body was lacking.

Ya, you need to revisit it. And if you like I can work with you offline on a drinkable history and evolution of saisons to change your mind. We'll start at Saison Dupont & Hennepin and we'll end with a bottle from Hill Farmstead & a saison-brett.

yea that's stupid as shit... we had a 57 whatever page thread of wonderful BS... and it seemed to be very civil.. it even included a C&D ;-) i understand capping our thread, but no offense... i'm not going to take my time to respond to 15 different threads about my beer or brewery... an all inclusive thread seemed to work just fine for me and all of you and i think we should keep it that way. it has been a wonderful experience, and super helpful in the direction of our brewery to have the 57 page open-forum we had... i see no reason to change it. sorry if others can't manage the way we (as a group) did... but in turn, that's a nice reflection on how we did it for the past 1.5 years... so thank you all!

Civil BS would be a great name for a Brett Saison.

It was actually more of a compliment than criticism. Everyone likes different styles of beer and you aren't going to like every one. So for every beer from pipeworks that i've had (13 and counting), saying I've only disliked one is a huge compliment.

And to answer your original question, end of days was too spicy for me and most saisons I've had werent really that flavorful. And yes, I've had some highly rated ones like saison brett.

I would still try the new batch of end of days when it comes out. The spiciness has been tamed on the newer batches IMO. Much more in line with Mexican Cake spicy and not so much Cocoa Mole insta heart burn spicy.

Depends whether you require strict matrilineal descent.

Edit: Oh, and to keep on topic - new batch of CBA is fantastic!
