Latest Pipeworks Releases and Updates

So what was the news on their FB page yesterday? I don't have FB so was unable to check out the news.

 

We can't help who we are... these two, Lucky & Luckier (named for now), have a date with the vet in the morning. Hopefully they make it through the night. We have to bury Unlucky in the morning unfortunately. We found them under Part-Tim​

e's steps over the weekend and we just now took the steps apart to get them.... hoping for the best! We were looking for another cat for the brewery but we're thinking these guys will probably go somewhere as a pair. We'll keep you posted after the vet visit.

Agree. I have a FB account but no friends... on purpose. Only a news feed filled with breweries and other things I like... and a couple groups. It's very useful for that, even if you don't want to get into the social part of it.

Anyway, what's on deck for PW this week? Nice run throughout the summer guys, lots of favorites and lots of new stuff. I appreciate the NW 'burbs deliveries too. Keep 'em coming.

just curious what the rules are and why this thread keeps getting locked. I think overall its better to contain PW stuff to ONE singular thread instead of having it spread around.

I would have to agree, but I still think that rule is being misapplied here. Over 90% of what goes on in this thread is release info. Pipeworks is such a small brewery comparatively that there isn't a need for lots of threads even by the "site rules". Sure this thread gets a bit goofy and off topic, but way less than most other threads and we always get it back on track. I get how locking it may fit within the site policy, it just seems that whoever is doing it is completely missing the point, and actually being a detriment to the community.

 

Still pissed I missed out on Citra Ninja

 

Infinite1, I know you said you drive into the city every couple of weeks but there's pretty much no reason that you're missing any release. West Lakeview Liquors still had Citra Ninja almost 11 days after it came out, and they even had Raspberry Truffle Abduction as of this past Thursday night, two weeks after that came out again. Hell, they even had snifters when I went Thursday. I don't know if you're like stuck on driving to the same one store and if you don't find something you're giving up, but others have mentioned in the past: try beermenus, and use your phone to call a few stores that have things listed. Lastly, Pipeworks has the names of all the stores they distribute to on their site. You really can't be striking out at every single one of those.

I got ya.. I drive into the city to crappy areas. I would have to go further North to those stores. I remember going to PR liquors a couple of times after they updated on beer menus that they got stuff in and when I got there they say " oh yeah we never got it in"

 

They will lie to you there if you are not a regular. Hit up Tabbs / Grand & Western / Noble Grape while in the area.

yea, one of the reasons we are active and participate here is because we know exactly where to go to answer questions rather then having to respond in 10 different threads... we'll definitely be participating less if it's more of a hassle for us to do so. sorry.
