This times 100. I don't mind spending money on a bomber sometimes if it's a great stout, or something weird/big. When it comes to IPA's, no way. I can get 37 awesome six packs for $10.

That being said, PW makes awesome stuff. I just wish the made it affordable.

Maybe when their bottle shop opens up, the price of growlers will be more to your liking. The way I see it, the cheaper it is the more of it I can buy.

I've been avoiding bombers also, which sadly held me back from buying more than 2 NvsU

I'm not sure that will necessarily be the case. Chicago growler prices are stupid high. Places like Solemn Oath, Haymarket, Atlas charge $20 and up for fills (plus $5 for the glass). Might be a few pennies cheaper per oz. than a bomber, but I wouldn't count on much of a discount.

$20 growler is the equivalent of $6.88 for a bomber. Assuming that you can reuse the growler.

Math is hard... I guess I see places in other parts of the country with $10 fills and get pissed off paying $27 for Mathias. Even that comes out to like $9.25 a bomber.

I'm hoping they charge by the ounce and are willing to fill 500 ml and 750 ml growlers. Or even sell 32 oz growlers like Half Acre.

I think almost 3/4 of Pipeworks brews are more than 9% - I very much hope they'll fill the smaller containers

If they don't, will I buy and consume far too much of a 64oz NvU growler? Absolutely. Should I? Almost definitely not. Help save me from me, Pipeworks

I agree, but i know they are working on some lower ABV beers for the tap room. It won't all be imperialized like it is in their bomber offerings.

What's the word on PW Centennial and Cascade? I saw it was on the horizon. Has anyone seen it around yet?

Sal's had this too. New oatmeal stout that I should've purchased as well.

Damn. If Niles had it, I missed it. Was just an in-and-out visit.
