Can you explain what its like? I'm not clear exactly what an Imperial English summer ale is...

 

Has anyone tried the one horned wonder or brother Nelson?

 

Mmm more Nelson...looking forward to it.

 

Well, this beer has a huge aroma, I could smell it from a mile away, outstanding. It had a huge floral/dank taste, just huge flavor, I guess this was particular to the Nelson Sauvin Hops. Not sure I've had a brew with just Nelson but this thing tasted awesome. Not super bitter or hoppy, less bitter than the ninjas, but well very well balanced. Nice color, kind of light orange, remined me a little of heady color, murky. I don't know what an english style summer ale is either, but this is another great brew. Kind of similar to a DIPA, I guess. I was a fischman's monday and a box of these were delivered right then, 20 minutes after bottling. The freshness of this beer, wow. good!

 

I guessing this is just a bigger verison of the Majestic if you had that.

I had one horned on nye. I would say they successfully brewed the beer they were going for. Lots of passion fruit and pepper in the aroma and flavor. The pepper character reminded me of pepper seeds. One to split with friends in my opinion

 

Looks like TNA (Coconut Almond Abduction) has started hitting stores.

 

Yup, I just picked up two bottles. Can't wait to try it this Saturday.
