TNA at Arlington Heights Binnys?

 

Honestly? More like an American Barleywine than anything English. Lots of delicious citrus hoppy goodness, reminded me of behemoth honestly. I didn't have high expectations from it as I was similarly confused as to what an Imperial English Summer ale would taste like, but this one really surprised me. Definitely a must have by them.

 

any of it around the west suburbs yet?

 

AH Binny's has TNA, but can't sell it because it's not in the system yet.

And is the only way to get One Horned Wonder to go to The Aviary or is this going to see distribution?

 

Hit up Foremost Liquors in AH. I just picked up a TNA from there this afternoon.

I believe this was out and about on Monday. Beer Temple posted that they got some. I picked up my bottle from the LZ Binny's yesterday. Call around to see who else may have it.

 

Beer Temple and Fischmans had two cases. One bottle limit.

STC binnys will probably never see it. Glen Ellyn binnys or Schaumburg will prob have it soon I would guess.

 

Crap! We just left Chicago to return to madison around 1 PM yesterday. Anyone want to work something out?

 

I grabbed 2 TNA at Schaumburg Binnys 30 mins ago. No limits and they only had 6 left. Also had plenty of fresh Sonorous and NvU.

 

Who was the guy from WI that was practically running into Capone's last night only to strike out along side me?

I hope he finds some. It flew off the shelf just like that first batch of CTA.

 

Anyone tried TNA yet? Thoughts?

 

I'm drinking it now. It's delicious. I don't write beers reviews so give me a pass from any criticisms you might have. But in order to help anyone out, here goes...

Pours practically no head. Smells sweet with scents of chocolate and vanilla coming through to me and some toasted notes to it, maybe from the malts or the coconut. There's a nutty scent to it, as well. It tastes sweet and strong. I can taste the coconut and vanilla and a hint of a nut taste. Since Proprietor's came out first and I recently had it, my first taste of this practically reminded me of it. I hope I don't piss off the Pipeworks Gods, but I see it as a compliment. I love this brew and I want more! LOL If Proprietor's tastes like Mounds, then this stuff is Almond Joy!!
