Your handle and previous posts says other wise. Maybe you need to get a different handle when going on silly rants when consumers have an opinion on your product that you don't agree with.

I agree with others that the abduction series base beer is way too thin for an imperial stout. The variant flavors are great but the beer itself leaves something to be desired. I will continue to buy other Pipeworks beers because I enjoy them, but posts like the above put a bad taste in my mouth.

FWIW (not much, just giving some different perspective), I took it to be more playful, like a friend giving you grief. I mean, come on, of course the beer community is a fickle group - he was just giving us shit for it. That's what friends do, and I consider PW to be friends of the Chicago beer community. Which is a reason I like them.

Anyway, looking forward to trying TNA, in the event that I find a bottle. Cheers.

 

Indeed. In my opinion, better this than they speak in legalese, suit and tie shit. But to each their own.

 

TNA is really good. Here's hoping we see it at least a couple of times more this year.

 

yeah, pipe works, i like you guys and your beer, but you need to use a different (personal) BA account if you are going to go on the attack, its unprofessional to get all defensive at consumers opinions. whether its not enough or too much coconut, or whatever is said, its an opinion. you guys are too young of a company and have too much potential to be acting so unprofessional. its true, the base beer on the abduction series leaves a lot to be desired. peoples opinions shouldn't make you angry, they should light a fire under your ass to continue making a better product. true, its nice to have the brewers participate in this forum and stay connected with product updates etc., but whenever you need to apologize for previous posts, you know you overstepped the line. cheers to a great 2014 for pipe works!

 

All you guys getting your panties in a bunch should just relax. This is a beer forum for entertainment purposes. I am just glad that they participate and give us info. Everyone razzes or gets razzed all the time. Look at me I get tons of shit when I don't get the beer I am looking for and do I go on a tangent whining about people picking on me, NO. So everyone should get a chance to joke around if the please even if they are the actual company we are all talking about.

sorry to bring it back to beer, but I just wanted to let you fellas know that while everyone is chasing TNA (and by the way, who isn't har har har) you should be chasing Brother Nelson Razbeardo. I am by no means a hop head and sometimes avoid stuff with a strong hop presence, but by golly the way the Nelson Sauvin Hops work with the black raspberries and subtle belgian yeast is quite magical. Probably my favorite or in my hop 5 of the dozens of Pipeworks beers I've had.
