The new batch of Abduction (supposedly thicker and less dry) and fresh NvU are around.

    October 25, 2012 Update

Abduction & the latest batch of Ninja vs Unicorn should be on the shelves at retail locations and also held for [Friends With Benefits members] at West Lakeview and Binny's Lincoln Park!

Next week we should be releasing:
    Hyper Dog Coffee Milk Stout
    Glaucus Belgian IPA
and first release of Last Kiss Weeheavy! <--wee love this beer!

Also today we mashed in our infamous Pastrami on Rye! made with the 11 herbs and spices traditionally used to cure Pastrami! This was one of our hits while we were doing the Kickstarter campaign in 2010!

I've been MIA for the past week or so. Did I miss the release of Well Read Temptress? If so anyone know where I can still find some. I've really been looking forward to this one, I hope I didn't drop the ball.

Next time you head to Calumet Waterworks Road, bring up a little sixth barrel and we will tap it at the Fitz for a lil private sampling.

There definitely wasn't as much talk about this one for some reason. Pipeworks mentioned that FwB could pick them up at WLV and Vav when it was first dropped, but nothing was ever said about it being available at other locations.

Vav would have released any remaining bottles of Well Read from the FwB allocation that didn't get picked up... what, today? Yesterday? So maybe start there? Or the Grand Ave. Binnys -- I feel like they have more Pipeworks on the shelves than any other store I've seen.

If you're in the burbs, they had plenty at the Famous Liquors in Lombard when I stopped by on Tues.

I just ran to Binny's Grand. They have Well Read Temptress and new NvU. They still had one bottle of the first batch of Abduction and wouldn't sell me one of the new ones until "the previous batch is gone". Oh well.

just because I haven't seen much written about on the forum, At Her Majesty's Pleasure IMO is one of the best beers they have done. English ales are not typically my favorite style, but Majesty is excellent. But very well balanced and great hop presence. I think its not typical of the style, which could explain why I like it.

OK I opened it and I am not sad. I am surely not the most discerning taster of imperial stouts on this forum, but I enjoy this. It is quite chocolatey. This might be influenced by the fact that I ate a bar of 85% cacao chocolate before drinking this. I am willing to accept this. Quite enjoyable, though. Room temp.

Blue Lady responders... just started replying personally to each of you (makes up about 300 bottles worth... =p) It'll take me a few days (meaning a week) to do so as our Belgian server is shutting down our IP route from the brewery (if that makes any sense) so we have to go to the Map Room =) to send/receive e-mails! Not a bad place for a temporary office.
