So uh, anybody try Last Kiss yet?

 

I drank a bottle last night and it was big in blue cheese aroma and it tasted like blue cheese as well.

 

The new one or the first batch?!

 

You must be drinking the older batch. Batch 51 is fantastic.

Yeah it's batch 51 and has blue wax. I believe it was just bottled Monday.

 

coool. might be revisiting that beer. havent has many berlinerwiessbiers and I am interested in trying a few! Well read sounds good too!

Blue Lady. It's just the second batch. Blue wax this time to distinguish.

 

there's a different flavor though, a peach version? not blue lady.

 

Well Read Temptress is the other. Has raspberries in it.

Temptress is excellent btw. A lot of raspberry in the nose/flavor but not sweet. Like Blue Lady, more on the sour side for a Berliner, which is the way I like 'em.

 

Tried both tonight at Life's A Cab (thanks guys) and I thought the Well Read was more tart and I liked it better. The nose on Blue Lady was awesome now too.....

 

Saw Abduction Imperial Stout at Glen Ellyn Binnys... First Pipeworks ive seen in the burbs and I love me some imperial stout.

 

I was in there yesterday and grabbed Blue Lady, Last Kiss and Abduction. They also got NVU, Glaucus, Cash 4, and a couple others.

 

ill have swing there today for some blue lad and NvU

 

Yes, just polished off a bottle. I love it and recommend it to others that enjoy Wee Heavy ales.
