I had one friend that said his bottle of Coffee Break was not good at all. Every one I've had has been absolutely fantastic. So there may be a bit of bottle variation for some reason, but I haven't encountered it.

I see- I feel it has to be a problem with the capping since it clearly tasted very oxidized. But with the bottle caps and the waxing almost being a double redundancy, I don't see it.

I wonder if stores tend to get bottles that were bottled in succession- that would mean that my second bottle may have the same problem. Not sure my friend and I would want to choke down another bottle of it- was really looking forward to drinking it based on reviews so it was a real disappointment. If there's a good chance of that happening, I'd rather just see if the Pipeworks folks want it back if its going to be helpful at all for quality control.

Anyone open up their batch 110 Citra Ninja yet? Having a glass of it right now, and it is delicious.

Sometimes when I don't have a beer for 3-4 months, I think I over romanticize how good it was. I was worried it was this way with CN, but it wasn't.

Great point. One of the best feelings is drinking a beer you havent had for awhile and realizing your last experience and memory of it wasnt just the hype train convincing you it was amazing. Ive had this (and the opposite) happen a few times.

Oh and I got my citra ninja at the glen ellyn binnys today.

I, as well. We coulda cracked a bottle there in the parking lot. I know that would have made the afternoon a much more delightful affair. As I understand it, single bottles through the weekend.

You guys need to get that new brew house up and running asap! It's getting nearly impossible to find your new releases and old favorites over the past month or so. Haven't had a chance to get to Vav's for my CN this week, so I will probably miss out this time around.

I don't think you understand the business model. They'd be like starting a lemonade stand on the corner last spring and expecting to have enough revenue to start a restaurant a year later.

It takes time. I'm with you, I wish I could get all the beer they make too but you've got to understand the process and be patient.

new heat-x and 2nd and 3rd on demand water heaters are on their way... and the brewhouse is basically finished just awaiting our 'go' on shipping.. so should be 2 weeks probably.
