Had my first ever Leffe Brune this week...after I begged my Binny's guy (Chicagoland big box beer/wine/liquor store) to break up the 6 pack & put these on the single bottle shelf.

Despite the tepid ratings on this site, I found this to be a FANTASTIC fall beer; banana bread, clove, brown sugar & faint cinnamon notes.

The mouthfeel wasn't thick OR thin, but just right...shout out to Goldilocks.

I'll be buying the other 5 bottles tomorrow.

Wabasha Alien Wedding Double IPA. This double IPA was released on Aug 24. First try was last night from a 16oz can into a pint glass. This is the next beer I will actively pursue as it is phenomenal. I'll get more to do a proper sit down review. Light yeast hazed cinnamon copper color with a slightly creamy head, fruity biscuit pine nose, tasting ripe citrus, stone fruits, blueberry and pine. It's slightly creamy, mildly soft, med-bodied and drinks extremely easy for it's ABV. Incredible taste and balance. WOW!

I'm drinking a Stone 25th Anniversary Triple IPA (growler), and it definitely evokes a "wow" for me. It is just excellent!
Of course, that may be the 12.5% ABV talking, so YMMV.

I had it on draught at Frontier Brewing and Taproom in Casper. Unlike you, I wasn't impressed. Viva to our different palates.

Can’t tell if being sarcastic or not, but you should definitely seek it out if you like the style and have not had it.

It's a personal favorite of mine. I was being silly.

It's one of those beers that i just assume everyone has had at this point. It's really awesome when I see people still getting excited about beers like this. They stand up to the test of time and defy the hype and trends that come and go.

Fresh wet hop ales from Cloudburst this year are incredible.
