A good idea would be to post some more info on what you're looking to do. Pick up bottles/cans to bring home? Visit a brewery/bar? What type of beers you're interested in?
Jailbreak is in Laurel off of Route 1. That's about it though. Head up north and hit up Manor Hill if you're looking for quality cans, shouldn't be more than a 20-30 min drive from Laurel
There's Black Flag brewing, at least I think that was the name. They defined the term mediocre when I visited them back in November 2016, so maybe they've gotten better since then.
I don't believe there are any new releases that weekend in central MD. But, you aren't far from Black Flag (yes, it's gotten better since late 2016) and Manor Hill. Thjey both have fresh cans available on-site, along with taps for flights.
Manor Hill Just released Hidden Hopyard 9. That may last til then. If not, definitely graba 6 of Citra Splendor.
Haven't been to that total wine but if it's like the one in Towson, I would just suggest maybe skipping it and driving over to Perfect Pour when checking out Black Flag/Frisco's/Victoria's. It's right around the corner from them and they also have about 12 taps for growler fills.
How far you willing to travel? Besides Jailbreak in Laurel, there is Black Flag in Columbia, Manor Hill in Ellicott City, Frisco's Tap House in Gambrills. But my best call if you can drive a little bit, it is Franklins in Hyattsville if a brewpub is your fancy.
Pass on Black Flag, place is the definition of mediocre. I would drive up to Baltimore and check out Diamondback. They're having a can release at Max's Taphouse, but not sure if they will last until Sun/Mon. I would also recommend Manor Hill for cans.
