The last outdoor Farmers Market for the season for Lawson's Finest Liquids in Saturday October 12 at the Waitsfield Farmers Market. Sean has pulled out the big guns for this one:

Same ticket system as always, this is a big holiday weekend in foliage land so come and look at the pretty leaves.

As a Columbus, OH resident I did a double take when I saw the title - that's what I get for browsing regional forums that aren't my own.

Whoa... ISO for the Maple Barrel-Aged Fayston stout. Totally wish I didn't use up all my vacation time for this year...

If anyone going would like to set up a pre-trade for the new Blue Lobster/Prairie collab, I'd love a bottle of the Maple Fayston

This is relavant to my interests...would it make more sense to go to this later in the day or HF first? I am going with my gf and dont really want her waiting in line all day so if HF at open this in the afternoon makes sense i'd appreciate some input.

edit just saw 9-1...now i have some decisions to make.

Get to the market at 8am, you will be out of there within an hour of the opening bell. Head STRAIGHT to Hf and get in line, even if your an hour or less early. We did this last Farmers Market and it was a great trip, got everything we wanted and then some. Trust me. Enjoy the scenery! Bring me back a Stout too please!

Yea that's not happening I'm leaving 30 mins south of Boston around 7 am and that's if I can convince my gf to wake up that early. Slight possibility I leave from Boston but I doubt it. Either way no way am I getting there that early.

Tentative plan go to farmers when I get there then check into stage coach. Head over to HF around 2 hoping to avoid the early rush when I get there at like 3

At the last market they were giving out ticket #139 at about 10am when we left with our goods (we got 51 at 8:05am). Left HF at 1pm that weekend and there was at least a 2-3hr line formed behind us. Its a Saturday during peak fall season, cannot see it being much less busy. However, that was my experience. Good luck, maybe you will hit it perfectly?

ha yea, i would like to avoid lines but if they happen they happen. What are my chances of DS if I show up around 10?

No clue, no idea how much he'll bring, but they do sell out of popular stuff slowly as the day goes on. Maybe others on here have a better idea? Like I said, I was outta there at 10am.

Remember this is a huge tourist/holiday weekend in Vermont and there will be a larger volume of people in the area.

Wish I could stop by for this one. Our annual trail work day on section 19 of the Catamount Trail, Battleground Condos up to Huntington Gap is on 10/12.

Don't forget that this is cash only, there are ATM's visible from the market location.

Tickets will be handed out starting at 8am. The market manager has asked that once you have your ticket it would be helpful if you would not hang around and impede the vendors prior to the 9am market openning.

Do I understand correctly that the limit is 4 bottles per person per variety? So I could buy 4 bottles of Double Sunshine & 4 bottles of Fayston?

I realize this might be a stupid question but the Warren Store limit is 4/person period, so I just wanted to clarify.

You are correct, Lawson's has more beer to sell than the Warren store usually.

If anyone is looking to go to this, I have room for at least 1 in my car from boston. Will be going here, HF, and possibly blue lobster on the way back. Gas is free...
