The Beer Sessions podcast interviews Sean Lawson and it seems like the Farmers Market is happening. Also, he says he's brewing a new beer called "Hops-a-lot" American IP, 7% ABV which will be available around Sept 20 as draft and bottles.

They released the beer list today:

    Lawson’s Finest/Otter Creek Double Dose IPA (8.7%) – $15/4 pack; Limit 2 four packs
    Hopcelot IPA (7.0%) – New! – $8/22oz; Limit 2
    Permagrin Rye Pale Ale (5.5%) - $7/22oz; Limit 2
    Super Session #4 (4.2%) – $7/22oz; Limit 2
Bourbon Barrel Aged Fayston Maple Imperial Stout (Pappy van Winkle; 11%) - $15/375ml; Limit 2
    Maple Tripple Ale (2013; 12%) – $25/500ml; Limit 2

I am heading up from DC and was wondering if anyone planning to be there has an extra bottle of Double Sunshine from the last release (8/25). I can bring up something from Hardywood, DC Brau or bring some heady, mastermind or a HF growler from the days before. Let me know.

    Thanks!

I'm in the same boat as @dchayes27. Would love to get my hands on some Double Sunshine and have Michigan beers to offer. Message me if interested. I will need to know by noon tomorrow as I am leaving tomorrow afternoon.

    Cheers!

Not in the same boat as anyone, but I'd be willing to break my trading hiatus for a bottle of that Bourbon Barrel Fayston. Or if anyone from the RI area is heading up to the market and don't plan on grabbing the full allotment of Fayston feel free to message me.

    Cheers!

You must love Lawson's, first after six months on BA.

Are there any pet friendly, affordable hotels in the area? It would make my life much easier.

You could check out the Gables Inn in Stowe- I know they allow dogs and the breakfast is phenomenal (although you'd probably have to be out of the place before breakfast was served unfortunately).

One room left and it's $225 per night. Looks like I'll be sleeping in the car. Possibly leaving the girlfriend and dog home. Hopefully not though. Do you happen to know if dogs are allowed outside at Hill Farmstead? I know they are at the farmers market.

I've seen dogs in and around Hill Farmstead. As long as they're well behaved there shouldn't be much of an issue.

Wow that's crazy, I paid around $80. Charlie the hillfarmdog is always around at HF as well so your dog will have company I imagine

Ill be up for the market on Saturday morning as well and looking to trade for a fresh bottle or two of SOS. I have some fresh Noble Ale Works stuff (chinook showers & Tongue Tickles) and some 5/14 HF Anna amongst others up for trade if anybody who will be there wants to set up an IP trade.

Does anybody know if there will be any bottle shares at the farmers market, HF (afternoon) or in the MontP area on Saturday night? Were staying at the Econo-Lodge.

Doubtful one can open bottles at the Farmer's Market...'guessing it would violate some sort of open container law along with drawing negative attention to the Lawson's stand at what is otherwise a really nice Farmer's Market. Not sure about HF...it tis Zwanze day...I believe there is something going on at Parker Pie after the official event though.

Don't share bottles at the farmer's market or Hill Farmstead, it is illegal in both cases and could also result in major trouble for the breweries if the liquor commission happened to be around.

Please take heed and don't bottleshare at releases. Even though VT has some of the most progressive politics in the US, when it comes to Dept. of Liquor Control, those folks are bored and always looking for trouble wherever they can find it. And they travel everywhere to look! They can shut a brewery down & fine them right there if they see a violation. This is nowhere more apparent than at VT Brewers Fest where the cop-wannabe's of the DLC wander around with sidearms (really!) looking for brewers tasting their own beers at their booths. Ridiculous? Utterly! Attempts at lobbying to make them less obstructionist? No success so far. Please help protect our local brewers by keeping your partying to discreet, private venues, out of the DLC's purview. With the success of beer-tourism in VT, their plain-clothes enforcers are everywhere these days.

Fair enough, thanks for the clarification. We'll have to check out PP at some point during the day on Saturday.
