I got a bottle of the MT a few weeks back. Wondering if anyone else did, too. If so, what are your plans for it? Drink now? Wait? If so, how long?

I've only had a few LFL beers, including MT. Of course the one time I'm in Montpelier is the time they release this beer. Oh well. Looking forward to drinking it again. One day I'll get that fresh double sunshine!

I always wait 9-12 months to drink any bottle of MT. It dries out a lot, and the maple pops out more with less malt sweetness. Just got a new bottle so last year's is now ready to be consumed.

I was debating on when to crack this one open. I think I have my answer. I guess I'll wait until winter to enjoy this treat.

I was thinking the earliest I would drink this is January anyway. I'm a subscriber to drinking with the seasons. A Maple Tripple sounds like an excellent post-shoveling drink.

The bottle says it will "age elegantly for many years," so perhaps we wait even longer. I've already had one with a year on it. Wonder what two will do to it.

Will open my aged one at BCTC this weekend - and post my impressions - if I can remember them!

Thanks for the reminder, OP! I'm suddenly recalling the bottle I picked up last August that's been patiently awaiting my attention ever since.
