This event was awesome when they did it last at MRG. General Stark's is a really great place to drink beer. If anyone is looking for something to do that day, Stark Mountain is a nice hike. The trailhead leaves right from the pub.

Love the sneak attack this time. Lawson's has done the best with the bad situation of being asked to leave the farmer's market. I'm still bummed that happened. Those were my favorite VT beer weekends by far.

Nice, can end up with 4 Maple Triples and great to see that I can get some Kiwi on tap! Missed those bottles this year.

Elaborate? Didn't realize they were booted.

That was the rumor around here when they didn't resume in spring 2015 when the Lawsons' brewing sabatical ended. Other vendors were supposedly unhappy with the large crowd that would congregate near the lawson's tent waiting for numbers to be called, hence the alternative solutions of the MRG sales. No idea if it's true or not.

That is interesting. You would think they would like the larger than normal influx of people. They definitely made more money on Lawson's weekends than a regular Saturday. I definitely spent quite a bit of money on other products throughout that market

How does this event usually work? I'm assuming they're only going to sell as much beer as they have tickets, but I don't know if that's the case. Any insight would be awesome.

That is correct. However, many people don't but full allotments so there are usually leftovers

Great to hear, thanks! I'm just planning on what time I need to be there. I've been too used to the "get to Treehouse 3 hours early" agenda that I figured I would ask.

Once you buy a ticket you can go anytime in that time slot

Yes, like eb1610 said. If you have a ticket you can buy the limit of everything offered.

Not sure of protocol here, but I have two tickets that I can no longer use. Looks like the event is now sold out. Just looking to get face value ($60/ticket) and hopefully help out a BA in the process. I'll be in VT that weekend, but the wife wasn't nearly as thrilled about this as I thought she would be...

I'm not sure if they are transferable so you might want to message Lawson's before selling/trading them

Does anyone know if the MRG Gen. Stark Pub is cash only? I'm guessing just the bottle/can sale is cash only but want to be sure.

It almost implies it would based on one of the statements on Lawson's website:

It is a bit ridiculous how much cash they're expecting people to carry for a bottle release (plus any merchandise).
