Does anyone know when the last bottle release dates are for this in Vermont? And I believe it takes place at the farmers market in waitsfield? Thanks
I have a questions about Lawson's bottle sales. I'll be flying in to VT on Sept. 19th so I won't be able to make it the the farmers market the weekend of the 15th. I was planning on hitting up the Warren Store on Friday because I hear that's when they get their usual deliveries. Would it be worth stopping by the farmers market Saturday morning (the 22nd) or should I expect to find the same selection at both places?
I just moved to the area, but I don't think Lawson's is at the market every weekend. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm pretty sure you'll find the same selection at the store, however.
This is from their blog -- talking about the Farmers Market on 8/11. So it looks like they will only sell maple Tripple on 8/11 (too late), 9/15 (I will be up there losing my HT, Lawsons and HF virginity that weekend) and 10/6. "This will be the third of four planned bottle releases of the 2011 Maple Tripple Ale (next up Sept. 15 farmers market), and if any bottles remain, they will be offered on Oct. 6 at the Farmers Market. "
Lawson is only there once a month. Many of the bottles he will have at the farmers market will be at the Warren Store, but not all, esoecially not the $30 ones. Also, I would call the Warren Store ahead of time, as sometimes he delivers the bottles really late in the day, and even sometimes early Saturday morning.
Thanks for the help everyone. I'm really looking forward to my trip. Sorry to the OP for threadjacking.
The two trips I took this summer Warren got their deliveries around 1pm on Thursday (I emailed Sean directly each time). On the second trip I happened to be in the coop around 3pm on Friday and they were just taking them out of the boxes.
Two weekends ago they got their shipment on Thursday due to the upcoming Farmer's market (Saturday 8/11) and they only got Session in the Rye. Sean did deliver the 'leftovers' from the market on that Sunday to the general store. DS, Knockout, Session & Chinnok'd. Maple was only at the Market, none made it to Warren.
