Check the post at lawsonsfinest.com for the market details.

The tickets will be handed out at a different Waitsfield location and in a different format.

I am planning on going to this and am wondering how early you have to get there to actually get a ticket? If I don't make it till 8am would I still stand a chance of getting a ticket during the 8:15 sale time?

Myself, I wouldn't wait until the last ticket time. I would think that the 6:30 and 7:30 crowd would be fine. I don't like to take chances so would be in that 6:30 group. If I could be there that is, damn family event in New Jersey that weekend, but, hey, hopefully I can score some Carton while I am down there. Have a great time at the market!

It really depends on how many people get there before you, there will be tickets available at all three times, but if you show up at 8:00 and 100 other people show up between 7:45 & 8:00 you wil be SOL.

I've never made the trip to the Lawson's market but am considering it for this sale. At what time do folks usually start lining up for tickets? Also, how is the parking situation around the Village Grocery? Readily available or a pain in the neck?

Beyond raising some money for charity, Lawson's is encouraging everything that is wrong with 'craft beer' with these markets, imo.

The market is a thousand times more efficient than having 100 people line up for a bottle of Double Sunshine at the three stores that get weekly deliveries. I think it's awesome that there's a pretty frequent weekend option for people to get their stuff without taking up space in a deli for 2 hours.

I don't think I've ever seen you post something here that wasn't a complaint.

    Update:

Super Session IPA #3 (Sorachi Ace single hop) will also be making an appearance at this market. Limit and price to follow.

Can someone explain why the maple triple ale is $25 for a 16oz? That seems incredibly steep. Is this beer really that good?

Maple Tripple is brewed using maple sap instead water each year during sugaring season. A great beer that is totally work the price IMO.

I tried it. It was a unique beer that tasted like a liquor. Was not a big enough fan and did not buy any last year (could of gotten 4 bottles). I have had 5 of Lawson's beers and the only two that I would buy again for their current prices is Double Sunshine and Triple play. The Maple Wheat, Spruce Tip IPA, and Maple Triple were all underwhelming, espeically for the price..

Maple Tripple is not for everyone, but it is a well-crafted libation.

I'm going to be in Vermont next week for a beergrimage but just found out I will likely need to leave on Friday and would miss the Saturday market. If it's a Double Sunshine release week do they consistently also supply the Warren Store and the Burlington stores with a few of those bottles that same week? I understand the bottle limits are lower at the shops than the market but as long as I can at least get one bottle of Double Sunshine it will make me a happy camper.

Anyone have a good resource for bars/stores? I did the Montpelier Market and HF earlier this year, but didn't really hit up bars and stores (other than Hunger Mountain).

I plan on doing this along with Hill Farmstead on a Friday-Saturday trip. Hopefully staying near Waitsfield, Waterbury, and Warren only.
