Just saw Lawson's is doing a small business Saturday pop up sale in waitsfield on the 28th. That's when they are releasing the cigar city collab plus more DS as well as SOS, super session, and maple triple. Full details on the Lawson's Facebook.
Sure to be packed. Limits are real low, though. Walked into Hunger Mountain a bit past noon today and grabbed my bottle of DS, shelf was still fully stocked, along with a 4-pack of Sip. Later in the day I walked in and out of Fiddlehead with my fill of Second Fiddle. Pretty sweet.
Yeah limits are so low its really not worth going for one DS and two cigar city collabs. For a pop up sale it would be nice to see higher limits.
Anyone there? Skipped it to hit Hill Farmstead myself, nobody there at noon, basically walked in and out with my fill of growlers.
Just left, all of the DS and the collab bottles were going quick. Had a ton of sip and super session as well. Hard to give an update on how much remained
I was planning to go but I had filled my cooler with tasty beverages at Beverage Baron by 8 a.m. so I just turned around, went home and went back to bed.
Haha, not my type of beer, but I did get some for friends. Didn't feel the need to mention bottles as that line is in and out these days anyway (not that I am there all the time, but seems like it should be very fast with the new system). I was very pleasantly surprised to find no line for growlers. I never like to arrive at open and figured it could be bad with the holiday weekend, but perhaps the Lawson's event kept people away. Oh, and the very full pour of Nelson was nice as well....
No complaints whatsoever today. Picked up my ticket around 11:15, shopped and had lunch at Mad Taco with the fam until a little after 1pm when my number came up, got my DS and some Reverse Migration and was on my way. DS is as delicious as I remember it always being and the Reverse Migration is very good as well, good balance of fruity and bitter with more passion fruit than mango to my taste buds.
