    Checked at Glenroe earlier in the week and they hadnt received their shipment yet so it's possible that it came later on. I've gotten it a few times at Wine Emporium. Ask at both places

    Grab some New England Sea Hag or Back East Summer Ale if you spot them. SOS is amazing, but there are some great local CT-only beers you shouldn't miss. Good luck!

    Thats pretty bad. Recommend retail is 12.99. The lowest i have paid in CT is 13.99 though. What store is selling it that high?

    I usually see it for $15.99 at multiple Simsbury locations, or $4.99 a single at a few places. Liquor Cabinet's been known to charge $5.99 a single for SOS and other "whales."

    A buddy brought back some fresh cans from VT last week. I was stoked due to all the hype and the 100 rating. What a let down! It had a funky yeast flavor and aroma. Does anyone know what yeast is used in that brew. Something clean and neutral would have worked much better for my taste.

    Was it canned like the day before? Don't think I have ever had any funky yeast taste in a can of SoS.

    Yeah. It was less than a week old. I read a couple of reviews where that was mentioned as well. Strange because I would think it would have been mentioned more if it was a common trait in the beer.

    Are there any go to bottle shops in Stamford that consistently get shipments of SoS and NEBCO stuff? One of my coworkers lives out there, and she offered to smuggle some beer into the office. Additionally, any whiff of next SoS canning?

    I had a SOS tonight with a January canning date (didn't intentionally age it).

    It was delicious.
