Lawson's SOS CT Lookout Thread

Any big shop in stamford gets plenty of SOS. I think i have seen it at 3-4 stores in stamford. We never know when it is canned until the day of or day before.

 

1 case going up on the shelf as I type at Bethel Caraluzzi's Food market. Not at nutmeg, at the food market. First come, first serve.

 

Is that a new delivery?

 

got a couple cases last week. Was holding one case as a favor. They took too long so out on the shelf it goes.

 

I have family in Stamford. Apparently I can hit up stores while I'm down there?

What spots would y'all suggest?

I thought I'd need to go to the brewery (cousin lives 5 minutes from Two Roads).

 

Pretty sure Two Roads doesn't sell any Lawson's on site or even taps it for that matter. Sip of Sunshine gets released every 3 weeks or so and it is pretty random as to who gets it and how much they get. I work in a small grocery story with literally one windows worth of cooler space dedicated to beer and we got two cases a few weeks ago so that goes to show how random it is.

 

OH no shit, thanks for the heads up. So having her there 5 minutes away won't be quite as sweet as I'd hoped. Unless I get more into Two Roads stuff.

 

You should check stores around the area. You may just get lucky. As was said earlier, delivery seems to be random and is somewhat sporadic.

 

It's at Caraluzzi's Food Market in the center of Bethel on Greenwood Ave/Rte 53.

There were 2 4pks left when I was there about 6pm. $15.99 shelf price.

 

Where in Bethel did you find it for $13.50?

Caraluzzi's used to be $14.99, they are now $15.99.

Central Package Store was $5 a can. I haven't seen anyone else in Bethel get Sip.

 

The store next to Big Y. It hasn't shown up there since. Are you from Bethel?

 

I hope this is the right place to post this here but is there anywhere to find SoS or really any decent craft beer around Old Lyme? I'll be coming from NYC to Old Lyme if that helps. Thanks for any help.

 

When? When it drops it is usually gone in a day or two. I think the A&P off exit 70 gets sip.

Sip hits next week according to lawsons website. Double dose in late september, no mention of distro yet though. I hope it makes it to southern CT this year.
